I put the tilt sensors back to there appropriate places, after the previous people removed them for some unknown reason, then came the big job of the power car outside. We are now in July/ August and we tried sanding the power car down but to no effect so stripping it was the only option. At first we tried strong paint stripper, worked well at first but was taking to long and also it was drying before we could strip it off. Now we are using a blow torch and burning it off which works well and it gets it down to bare metal but i reckon it will take us at least till the end of September to complete this job. The public part of the train is now cleaned and looks a lot better all we have to do is to repaint the display put the pictures back up and get the TV/DVD sytem working again.

This is currently where we are at with the stripping of the power car taking most of the time and priorty. There is still lots of work to do in the north side of the train but money, time and man power restricts it."
